    On the caterer’s side: The provider may also be unavailable at the last minute (vehicle breakdown, staff shortage, illness…). What happens then? Do they offer a backup solution? A clear contract helps avoid misunderstandings and ensures that everyone knows their responsibilities.

    Timelines often shift during events.

    Typical example: You're organizing a wedding.

    • The groom’s speech lasts an hour longer.

    • Guests arrive late.

    • The service, originally planned until midnight, ends up going until 2 or 3 a.m.
